Day Seven: ‘First Mix’. A week recording in the Scottish hills.
Form 9am to 6pm Steve toils to get as much down as we can in the allotted week of recording. We’ve got Angela’s all important lead vocals and backing vocals to do, but most of the album is there, ready to mix.
By 9pm the first rough mix of 12 new tracks on CD is in my hand and I’m zooming back to Newcastle chuckling with delight as I listen on the car stereo to what is still cooking but, already, very tasty!
