I wish I could hear Caedmon in concert. But I live in the United States ( Florida for now ). I wonder if any other Christian bands from the 70’s played like Caedmon and Parchment? I also enjoy the music of Water Into Wine Band.

I’d bring Caedmon to play in the US if I had the finances.

WOW Ellen, How could I possibly forget my big buddy from the States. I would love to be back in touch + hear your news, I think I kept all your letters!! The Caedmon reunion was…don’t know which words can describe it. Really enjoyed the concerts + meeting many old friends, looking out on a sea of middle aged faces + every so often thinking ‘that’s so and so’. Would be good to email occasionally. Do keep in touch. Hi to Angela, Yikes. Do you remember me? I was an overseas student, very young in Christ when I met you through CU. Wonderful to hear of the reunion and will have to wait for a quieter time to reflect on the many years that have passed since I was in Edinburgh. I remember our many good talks and walks across the meadows, visits with you and your family after you were married. I am still in Ohio, still walking with the Lord; my husband and I are in full time ministry. God has been very faithful to us through these many years. Claire (Goodman) told me of the reunion and asked if I was planning to attend…uh..well, I would love to..are you offering a plane ticket, Claire? I enjoyed everything about the trip, but it was certainly special being at your shows and getting a chance to chat. By the way, I edited the review a bit as I can now relax at my own computer and think a bit more than I could in the hotel lobby. Most of it is the same, though and it wasn’t overly incoherent I hope. But simply, Caedmon was great and everyone I talked to from an older Celtic Studies teachers who had no idea who you were to a serious record collector from Glasgow who knew your music well agreed with me.

If you’re looking for a way to let people hear highlights (and even for new stuff), may I suggest that you could do much worse than bandcamp.com – full control, variable pricing (inc. free or pay-what-you-think-it’s-worth models), a variety of formats (inc. packages with physical cds), itunes-friendly files complete with cover art and lyrics… and all for free. http://dldown.bandcamp.com for my example!
